These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the GoalEdge website and services (the "Platform"). By creating an account or using the Platform, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

1. What GoalEdge is, and is not

GoalEdge provides sports predictions, statistical analytics, fantasy competitions and a just-for-fun gaming arena. The Platform is for entertainment and information only. GoalEdge is not a bookmaker, betting operator, gambling service or investment platform. We do not accept wagers, hold funds for betting or pay out winnings. Nothing on the Platform is a guarantee of any sporting outcome, and nothing is financial, investment or betting advice.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into these Terms. You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the Platform is lawful in your jurisdiction.

3. Your account

You agree to provide accurate registration details, to keep your password confidential and to be responsible for activity under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorised use. We may suspend or close accounts that breach these Terms or that we reasonably believe are being used for abuse, fraud or unlawful activity.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use the Platform for any unlawful, fraudulent or harmful purpose;
• attempt to gain unauthorised access to any account, server or data;
• probe, scan or test the vulnerability of the Platform without our prior written permission, or breach any security or authentication measure;
• interfere with or disrupt the Platform, including through automated scraping, excessive requests or denial-of-service activity;
• copy, resell, reverse engineer or create derivative works from the Platform except as permitted by law;
• upload malicious code or misuse any interactive feature.

5. The gaming arena

The Blackjack, Racing and Pool games in the gaming arena are provided purely for entertainment. They involve no money, no stakes and no prizes. Any in-game scores have no monetary value and cannot be exchanged for anything of value.

6. Predictions and analytics

Predictions, ratings and analytics are generated for information and entertainment. They are inherently uncertain and may be wrong. You rely on them entirely at your own discretion and risk. If you choose to gamble elsewhere, do so responsibly and only with operators licensed in your jurisdiction.

7. Subscriptions and payments

Core access is free during launch. Where optional paid features are enabled, the subscription price and billing cycle are shown on the billing page (for example a recurring charge billed each cycle). Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You may cancel at any time, and cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period. Payments are processed by third-party providers (Stripe, Paystack, Flutterwave) under their own terms. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable. We do not store full card details.

8. Intellectual property

The Platform, including its software, design, text, graphics, logos and the GoalEdge name and branding, is owned by GoalEdge or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable licence to use the Platform for its intended purpose. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.

9. Third-party services and links

The Platform may rely on or link to third-party services, including payment processors, sports data sources and a translation widget. We are not responsible for the content, policies or practices of third parties.

10. Disclaimers

The Platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and uninterrupted availability. We do not warrant that predictions will be accurate or that the Platform will be error-free or secure.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, GoalEdge and its team will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, goodwill or any amounts you choose to wager with third parties, arising from your use of the Platform. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us, if any, in the twelve months before the claim.

12. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless GoalEdge from any claims, losses or expenses arising from your breach of these Terms or your misuse of the Platform.

13. Termination

You may stop using the Platform at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or where necessary to protect the Platform or other users.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts of Nigeria, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protections available to you.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will revise the date above and, for material changes, provide a clearer notice. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
